Student caught with BB gun at Rossview Middle in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A fifth-grader at Rossview Middle School was caught with a BB gun on a bus this week.

Because of overcrowding, the fifth grade class at Rossview Elementary is being bused this year to the middle school. During the short bus trip on Tuesday, a student was spotted with the gun, according to Clarksville-Montgomery County School System spokeswoman Elise Shelton.

The bus driver was told and alerted school officials, who met the student when he got off the bus.

No further information was available Friday afternoon.
