UPDATE: Bobby Lenor turned himself in to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 12:15 p.m. Thursday

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A third Clarksville teenager is in custody and facing criminal homicide charges in the May 22 shooting death of 20-year-old Charles Whitfield.

Whitfield died after being shot numerous times in the parking lot of a College Street business after a party.

Clarksville Police said Bobby Lenor III, 18, of Clarksville had turned himself in to police at 12:15 p.m. Thursday. Lenor's brother and another teen are already charged with homicide in the case.

On Wednesday, Clarksville Police had announced criminal homicide warrant had been issued for Bobby Lenor III.

"Probable cause has been developed to believe that Bobby Lenor, along with several others, were directly involved in the fight and shooting which occurred May 22, 2015, at 1152 College St., resulting in the death of the victim," the press release says.

Police arrested two suspects shortly after the fatal altercation.

Tequan Laquarious Evans, 18, who gave an 1881 Waters Edge Drive, Apt. A, address, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail at 3:09 a.m. May 23, after police searched a home in the Timberlake subdivision. He remained at the jail without bond Wednesday.

Tremond Dinell Lenor, 19, voluntarily surrendered to police shortly after officers surrounded a house in the 900 block of Commission Drive around 12:53 p.m. on May 23.

Police say Tremond and Bobby Lenor are brothers. Both have their addresses listed as 2812 Cobalt Drive, Apt. A, in Clarksville.

Police were dispatched to the College Street shooting at 1:05 a.m. May 22 and found Whitfield with multiple gunshot wounds. Whitfield was taken to Gateway Regional Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

In an earlier affidavit filed by Clarksville Police Department Detective Chris Nolder, Tremond Lenor and Evans were identified by witnesses as the two men who fatally shot Whitfield.

According to their warrants, members of the "400" gang jumped Whitfield in the parking lot during a party and began beating him.

While they were fighting, Whitfield was shot by Tremond Lenor, according to a witness. An unknown person intervened and began fighting with Tremond Lenor, who continued to fire at Whitfield as he lay on the ground, a warrant says.

A witness stated that as the two men were fighting, Evans stood over the top of Whitfield and fired four shots into him at close range.

At the crime scene, police recovered shell casings of two different calibers.

Evans was charged with criminal homicide. Tremond Lenor was charged with aggravated assault and criminal homicide on May 23 and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $250,000 bond.

Meanwhile, police say Bobby Lenor could be in the Houston area.

The press release asks that anyone with knowledge of Lenor's whereabouts contact Det. Chris Nolder at 931-648-0656, ext. 5341, or Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline 931-645-TIPS (8477).
